Business Diversity

The Harrisburg Regional Chamber is dedicated to developing woman and minority-owned businesses in the tri-county Region. The Chamber created the Business Diversity Advisory Council to enhance opportunities for women and minority business entrepreneurs throughout Central Pennsylvania 's tri-county region. This is done by supporting the businesses of women and minorities with educational training, technical assistance, and identification of financial resources. Regional mentoring is also available for woman and minority business owners.

Famous quotes containing the words business and/or diversity:

My business is stanching blood and feeding fainting men; my post the open field between the bullet and the hospital. I sometimes discuss the application of a compress or a wisp of hay under a broken limb, but not the bearing and merits of a political movement. I make gruel—not speeches; I write letters home for wounded soldiers, not political addresses.
    Clara Barton (1821–1912)

We call the intention good which is right in itself, but the action is good, not because it contains within it some good, but because it issues from a good intention. The same act may be done by the same man at different times. According to the diversity of his intention, however, this act may be at one time good, at another bad.
    Peter Abelard (1079–1142)
