Hardstyle - Dance

Dance

There are a few notable dance moves performed on hardstyle music. The most popular dance in the Netherlands performed to hardstyle is known as 'stampen' (also referred to as 'zagen', 'raggen' or 'beuken'), which is similar to a slower version of 'hakken', which is mainly performed to hardcore music. In other countries like Australia the most popular dance is the Shuffle, which originated in Melbourne, Australia in the late '80s. It has now become popular throughout Asia, Europe and in the United Kingdom and other countries where shuffling is now an urban subculture.

Famous quotes containing the word dance:

    The banners flashing through the trees
    Make their blood dance and chain their eyes;
    That bugle-music on the breeze
    Arrests them with a charm’d surprise.

    Ye shy recluses, follow too!

    No imperfection in budded mountain,
    Valleys breathe, heaven and earth move together,
    daisies push inches of yellow air, vegetables tremble,
    green atoms shimmer in grassy mandalas,
    sheep speckle the mountainside, revolving their jaws with empty eyes,
    horses dance in the warm rain,
    Allen Ginsberg (b. 1926)
