They prepare for the National Higher Education Entrance Examination and also they cooperate with other foreign schools (including both high schools and undergraduate colleges) to provide further opportunities to their students. Some of the Hangzhou Foreign Language School alumni refer themselves as HFLSers. In 2009, some of the HFLSers established an association in order to maintain the close relationship between alumni.。
