Student Life

HCC’s students have won awards in DJ, advertising and photography competitions, that include Adwave and DIVA DIVO DJ Competition organised by Universiti Sains Malaysia and Adrenalin.

Students are equipped with soft skills such as communication and language to further improve their employability and versatility. English is the main medium of instruction for all the courses except Chinese Studies.

According to the college’s 2007 Graduate Tracer Study, 70 percent of graduates are gainfully employed while 30 percent have pursued their undergraduate studies.

Students graduating with a diploma from HCC can pursue their degree at any of the college’s 40 partner universities in Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand, China, Taiwan and the United States.

HCC has had international students from China, Indonesia, Laos, Taiwan and Thailand. An International Office has been set up at HCC to look after international students.
