Famous quotes containing the words hall of, hall and/or columns:

    Her cabined, ample spirit,
It fluttered and failed for breath.
    Tonight it doth inherit
    The vasty hall of death.
    Matthew Arnold (1822–1888)

    —W.H. (Wystan Hugh)

Rage is the only quality which has kept me, or anybody I have ever studied, writing columns for newspapers.
    Jimmy Breslin (b. 1929)
