Current Service
Monday to Saturday there is generally an hourly service from Hale via Stockport to Manchester Piccadilly eastbound (although some morning peak trains terminate at Stockport), and to Chester westbound.
Sundays see a two-hourly service to Chester and Southport via Manchester Piccadilly and Bolton. This is a significant improvement on the former Sunday provision of five trains each way between Chester and Altrincham only.
