Halas Hall

Halas Hall is a building complex in Lake Forest, Illinois, that serves as the Chicago Bears' headquarters. The building hosts the team's front office, as well as indoor and outdoor practice facilities. The franchise spent 20 million dollars to build the complex in 1997. It is four miles west of the original Halas Hall.

In 2013, the Bears announced that Halas Hall will be renovated, which will include an event center, broadcast studio, event center, along with an outdoor patio and dining facility. Additional conference rooms and staff offices will also be added, and the building will expand the parking lot and renovate the entrance to the lobby. The media courtyard will also be relocated; the event center's will feature interactive digital displays, video monitors and memorabilia such as the 1963 NFL Championship Game trophy.

Famous quotes containing the word hall:

Having children can smooth the relationship, too. Mother and daughter are now equals. That is hard to imagine, even harder to accept, for among other things, it means realizing that your own mother felt this way, too—unsure of herself, weak in the knees, terrified about what in the world to do with you. It means accepting that she was tired, inept, sometimes stupid; that she, too, sat in the dark at 2:00 A.M. with a child shrieking across the hall and no clue to the child’s trouble.
