- Indian Air Force - 40 LCA Mk 1 aircraft on order. Plans to order LCA Mk 2 aircraft for 10 more squadrons (about 180 total aircraft) after completing production of LCA Mk 1.
- Indian Navy - Signed an order for six Naval LCAs at an approximate cost of US$ 31.09 million per aircraft. The Indian Navy has a requirement for 50 Tejas aircraft.
