Operational History
The work to raise the first squadron started in July 2011. The Tejas will be inducted into the 45th squadron, the Flying Daggers and will be based in Bangalore before being moved to Sulur.
According to the Director General of the DRDO V. K. Saraswat, HAL Tejas is to be inducted into the Indian Air Force in 2012.
