Hal Elliott

Harold William "Ace" Elliott (May 29, 1899 – April 25, 1963) was an American baseball pitcher. He played Major League Baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1929 to 1932. He led the National League by appearing in 48 games as a pitcher in 1930. Over his four year major league career, he compiled a 11-24 record with a 6.95 earned run average (ERA). Elliott also played college baseball for the University of Michigan and played minor league baseball for nine teams between 1923 and 1937.
