• In Ville Platte, a small cajun-creole town in the bayou land of South Louisiana, two high school football teams, the predominately black "Ville Platte High Bulldogs" and the all white "Sacred Heart Trojans" perform their own haka, the "Kajun Ka Mate", to each other before their annual meeting in the Tee Cotton Bowl as a sign of respect .
• The male fencing team of Livingston High School, in Livingston, New Jersey chants the Ka Mate Haka before every match.
• Avon High School's football team, in Avon, Connecticut, has a relatively short tradition of performing the haka.
• Anglo-Chinese School, Singapore, performs the Ka Mate haka after winning the division
• Northern Arizona University football team performs the Ka Mate haka before home games. The tradition was started in 2009 by Pacific Islanders who play for the team.
• Mesa High School, Mesa, Arizona. The varsity football team performs the haka at home football games, and also at sports assemblies.
• FPYC U19 Rugby-Fairfax, Virginia. The U19 club perform the Ka Mate before every match.
• Highland High School Highland Rugby team of Salt Lake City, UT trains championship players rather than championship teams by living up to ideals and performs the Ka Mate haka as portrayed in the film Forever Strong.
• St. Petersburg High School Swim and Dive Team has been doing the Haka during the break of each meet since 2009.
• Tai Kuda FC also performing Haka, Siva Tau, Monkey Dance, Ka Mate, and Crazy Dance, before compete soccer, when against Seattle Sounders in Estadio San Martin de Porres at 2012-13 Pacific Soccer Cup, a twelfth Association football competitions in Asia-Pacific.
