  • In Ville Platte, a small cajun-creole town in the bayou land of South Louisiana, two high school football teams, the predominately black "Ville Platte High Bulldogs" and the all white "Sacred Heart Trojans" perform their own haka, the "Kajun Ka Mate", to each other before their annual meeting in the Tee Cotton Bowl as a sign of respect .

  • St. Petersburg High School Swim and Dive Team has been doing the Haka during the break of each meet since 2009.
