Best Practices in Global Health Award

In May, 2008, Bette Gebrian, PhD, Haitian Health Foundation's director of public health, received the Global Health Council's 2008 Best Practices in Global Health award at its International Conference on Global Health. Using Health Track—a sophisticated computer health information system—HHF's Child Survival Project supplies health care to and tracks the medical status of more than 130,000 Haitians in more than 100 villages.
