The Municipality of Gumaca (Filipino: Bayan ng Gumaca) is a first class municipality in the province of Quezon, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 69,618. Located at the mouth of what is now known as Pipisik River and nestling at the foot of the Sierra Madre range, it was – as it is now – also the center of local trade and commerce.
