Guinness World Records: The Video Game - Development

Development

Guinness World Records: The Video Game was developed by TT Fusion, which is a subdivision of the TT Games Group which also includes Traveller's Tales. The development of this game took place at the TT Fusion development offices in Knutsford, Cheshire.

Travellers Tales, together with TT Games Publishing, were bought by Warner Brothers in November 2007. Also based in Knutsford, Travellers Tales were responsible for the hugely successful Lego Star Wars, Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Batman video games.

TT Games Publishing, as the name suggests, is the publishing arm of the TT Games Group. Based in Burnham, Slough, TT Games has two offices. One out of which the marketing and production takes place, known as “The Cottage” and another where the QA and testing of all the games in development takes place.

Famous quotes containing the word development:

I can see ... only one safe rule for the historian: that he should recognize in the development of human destinies the play of the contingent and the unforeseen.
    —H.A.L. (Herbert Albert Laurens)

Understanding child development takes the emphasis away from the child’s character—looking at the child as good or bad. The emphasis is put on behavior as communication. Discipline is thus seen as problem-solving. The child is helped to learn a more acceptable manner of communication.
    Ellen Galinsky (20th century)

Ultimately, it is the receiving of the child and hearing what he or she has to say that develops the child’s mind and personhood.... Parents who enter into a dialogue with their children, who draw out and respect their opinions, are more likely to have children whose intellectual and ethical development proceeds rapidly and surely.
    Mary Field Belenky (20th century)
