Mall Expansion
A three-phase redevelopment project began in June 2010. The first phase, completed on October 28, 2011, involved building a new Walmart Supercentre and two-level parkade structure. The second and third phases will result in a complete renovation of the mall's interior and the construction of an expansion on the south side of the existing building which will include seventy-five new stores along with a new food court. The mall is expected to be completely renovated and done by 2013.
