Ammavari darakonda panchayat consists of 10 revenue villages and 11 habitations.The main village of the Panchayat Ammavari darakonda is an interior village with no transport facility except walking.The village is situated in the midst of mountains. To reach the villge, there are three ways.The first route is the shortcut walk starting from sapparla and sapparla kotturu village going towards east and climbing a steep mountain for 1 hour(Medium walk),crossing the way at the edge of the mountain covering another 1 hour. In the middle of the way, near a tamarind tree(the only tree there), the mountain slopes. If walking is continued uphill, a plateau is reached which is a beautiful location with ponds and calcium deposits.Therefore, the traveller must be alert in finding the tree where the mountain slopes.From there, an one hour walk at the edge of the mountain slope and another one hour walk crossing a stream and high bushes. The traveller can not find the Sunlight in that deep forest. After crossing the bushes, he sees the first village, Ammavari darakonda.Without a compass, it is difficult to judge the north and south directions. The second route starts from jerrila village with a walk of 6 hours crossing a big stream which obstructs the way during rainy seasons.The villages coming in the way include Rallagadda, naidmveedhi,Gollapalli,jajupakalu, durgamand ammavari darakonda chilaka veedhi. the third route starts from R.V.Nagar and Siribala which is connected to Nadimveedhi of second route.
