GT 101 - Note

Note

The reference (noted below) states that development of the GT series was led by Alfred Mueller, not Adolf Müller, and that the latter took over the project in February 1945. Although this is possible, the timing of the developments seems to suggest that this is simply a naming confusion. Until corroborating references can be found the name above should be considered potentially incorrect.

Famous quotes containing the word note:

There is a note in the front of the volume saying that no public reading ... may be given without first getting the author’s permission. It ought to be made much more difficult to do than that.
    Robert Benchley (1889–1945)

What is line? It is life. A line must live at each point along its course in such a way that the artist’s presence makes itself felt above that of the model.... With the writer, line takes precedence over form and content. It runs through the words he assembles. It strikes a continuous note unperceived by ear or eye. It is, in a way, the soul’s style, and if the line ceases to have a life of its own, if it only describes an arabesque, the soul is missing and the writing dies.
    Jean Cocteau (1889–1963)

    Return our hymn,
    like echo fling
    a sweet song,
    answering note for note.
    Hilda Doolittle (1886–1961)
