Greystones is part of the East European Parliament constituency and the Wicklow Dáil Éireann constituency. In local government Greystones has four councillors on Wicklow County Council. In the town, there are nine elected Councillors on Greystones Town Council, headed by a Mayor who is elected by the Town Councillors.
