Green Street (MBTA Station)
Green Street (Green on station signs) is a station on the MBTA Orange Line, located in the southern part of Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts at 150 Green Street, near the intersection of Green Street and Amory Street. It primarily serves surrounding residential neighborhoods and is half a mile from Jamaica Plain's primary business district on Centre Street.
The original Green station, an infill station on the Washington Street Elevated, was closed in 1987 when the new station opened on the Southwest Corridor.
