Green Gym
Green gyms, also known as outdoor exercise gyms, is the concept of setting up and utilizing exercise equipment in an outdoor, open space setup. They are typically designed to offer exercise for all ages and abilities from young children, adults, seniors and professional athleetes. They can be setup as permanent or temporary installations.
BTCV's Green Gym programme aims to provide people with a way to enhance their fitness and health while taking action to improve the outdoor environment. It can be seen as enabling people to get fit who would not normally attend a conventional gym or sports centre.
