Fares

As of March 1, 2011, the adult cash fare on Greater Sudbury Transit is $2.65. Children, older adults, and disabled persons pay a reduced fare of $1.95. Ride cards can also be purchased (in denominations of single, five or ten rides) at an older adult rate of $1.95 per ride. Children 4 years of age or younger ride free.

Transfers are provided to passengers paying with cash or a ride card, and are good for exactly 45 minutes.

The rates for a 31-day bus pass are $73.00 for adults, $67.00 for students, and $45.00 for seniors and disabled. Full-time undergraduate students at Laurentian University qualify for the U-Pass which offers unlimited bus service on Greater Sudbury Transit during the months of September through May.
