Grant Random

Grant Random is an American DJ for The Boneyard on Sirius XM Radio and DC 101 in Washington D.C..

Random joined The Boneyard (Sirius 19, XM 53) on September 22, 2009 and can be heard from Noon-6PM ET/9AM-3PM PT.

Prior to joining The Boneyard, Random was previously on Octane on Sirius XM and SquiZZ on XM Satellite Radio. As a result of the Sirius XM Merger, SquiZZ was replaced by Octane on Wednesday, November 12, 2008. While on SquiZZ, Random hosted Indecent Exposure, a 30 minute new music show airing on Wednesdays and Sundays. He also served as co-host of the interview special Liner Notes, and The F*ckin' Metal Show. Random had been with XM since 2001 where he has also been heard on Fred, XMU, and the now-defunct Unsigned channel. When XM broadcast Live 8 in 2005, Random co-hosted the Philadelphia concert with XMU's Tobi. He also served as a co-anchor of XM's coverage of Live Earth in 2007 with P.O.T.U.S. 08's Scott Walterman.

Prior to joining XM, Grant worked in Chicago where he was a DJ for Q101 and a producer for WLS.
