Campus Life

Students' Association of MacEwan University (SAMU) is the official voice of MacEwan University students, and serves as the liaison between students and the University. SAMU is guided by 12 students, elected to the Students' Council every year. Four additional students are elected every year to form the Executive Committee of the Students' Council. The Executive Committee is composed of a President, Vice President Academic, Vice President Operations and Finance, and Vice President Student Life. The official University student newspaper (formerly known as Intercamp) underwent a name change in 2011 to the Griff, and is a member of the Canadian University Press.
