Grand Valley Brewing Company

The Grand Valley Brewing Company was founded in 1937 in Ionia, Michigan. It created the first malt liquor brewed in the United States.

Brewery owner 'Click' Koerber is the creator of the process and owner of the patent that details the production of Clix malt liquor.

In addition to Clix Malt Liquor, the Grand Valley Brewing Company created a Stout beer using the same process.

Famous quotes containing the words grand, valley and/or company:

If the Christ were content with humble toilers for disciples, that wasn’t good enough for our Bert. He wanted dukes’ half sisters and belted earls wiping his feet with their hair; grand apotheosis of the snob, to humiliate the objects of his own awe by making them venerate him.
    Angela Carter (1940–1992)

All the Valley quivered one extended motion, wind
    undulating on mossy hills
    Allen Ginsberg (b. 1926)

Mrs. Mirvan says we are not to walk in [St. James’s] Park again next Sunday ... because there is better company in Kensington Gardens; but really, if you had seen how every body was dressed, you would not think that possible.
    Frances Burney (1752–1840)
