Athletics
Grand Canyon University is currently a member of NCAA Division II with most sports participating in the Pacific West Conference. Men's Volleyball competes in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA; Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) for Men's and Women's Swimming, and Wrestling.
After the 2012-2013 season, Grand Canyon University will compete in the NCAA Division 1 Western Athletic Conference. GCU will be the first for-profit institution to compete in NCAA Division 1 sports.
