Professor Gopi Chand Narang (born on February 11, 1931 in Dukki, Baluchistan) is an India-based theorist, literary critic and scholar writing in Urdu and English. His work in Urdu literary criticism has incorporated a range of modern theoretical frameworks including stylistics, structuralism, post-structuralism and Eastern poetics.
