Newport County Football Club
The group's association with their home city's football club stretches back to their inception as a group. They featured as a sponsor on the Newport County kit worn in the FAW Premier Cup in the 2004–05 season, and are often seen on stage in Newport County shirts. In Newport County's record-breaking 2009–10 season, GLC members provided commentary for the club's popular internet radio service.
