The original title "Golden Tee Golf" was introduced in 1989 as a 2-D video golf experience. The original title paved the way for Golden Tee 3D in 1995, which was released in a popular coin operated version before being ported to the PC. This was followed by Golden Tee Fore! in 2000. In 2005, Golden Tee LIVE was introduced.
