Famous quotes containing the words golden and/or gate:
“The Maiden caught me in the Wild,
Where I was dancing merrily;
She put me into her Cabinet
And Lockd me up with a golden Key.”

“Duns at his lordships gate began to meet;
And brickdust Moll had screamed through half the street.
The turnkey now his flock returning sees,
Duly let out a-nights to steal for fees:

And schoolboys lag with satchels in their hands.”
