Famous quotes containing the words golden, days and/or radio:
“I prefer “you” in the plural, I want “you,”
You must come to me, all golden and pale
Like the dew and the air.
And then I start getting this feeling of exaltation.”
—John Ashbery (b. 1927)
“Barely a twelvemonth after
The seven days war that put the world to sleep,
Late in the evening the strange horses came.”
—Edwin Muir (1887–1959)
“We spend all day broadcasting on the radio and TV telling people back home what’s happening here. And we learn what’s happening here by spending all day monitoring the radio and TV broadcasts from back home.”
