"Gnothi Seauton" is the second episode of the American television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It aired January 14, 2008 in the United States. The episode's title is Greek for "know thyself." During the episode Sarah comments on the origin of the phrase and what it means for her and John. The phrase is inscribed on the portico at the temple of Delphi. This is interesting because of the oracle at Delphi who predicted the future. According to Juvenal, the precept descended from heaven.
