Facilities and Aircraft
Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) covers an area of 1,505 acres (609 ha) which contains two asphalt paved runways: 2/20 measuring 9,006 x 150 ft (2,745 x 46 m) and 12/30 measuring 3,504 x 75 ft (1,068 x 23 m).
For the 12-month period ending January 1, 2007, the airport had 51,925 aircraft operations, an average of 142 per day: 70% general aviation, 21% air taxi, 8% scheduled commercial and 1% military. At that time there were 159 aircraft based at this airport: 78% single-engine, 16% multi-engine and 3% jet and 3% helicopter.
All flights currently offered from FCA by Delta Airlines and Delta Connection feature jet service. On a seasonal basis, Delta operates Boeing 737-800 jetliners with weekly nonstop service to Atlanta and also on a seasonal basis flies a number of services every day of the week nonstop to Minneapolis/St. Paul operated with a mix of Airbus A319, Airbus A320 and McDonnell Douglas MD-90 jetliners. In addition, Delta Connection flies nonstop to Minneapolis/St. Paul with Embraer 175 regional jet aircraft. The Delta Connection nonstop flights to Salt Lake City are operated daily with a mix of Canadair CRJ-200, CRJ-700 and CRJ-900 regional jet aircraft.
United Express provides regional jet service nonstop to Chicago on a seasonal basis with Canadair CRJ-700 aircraft and also nonstop to Denver year round with a mix of Canadair CRJ-200 and CRJ-700 aircraft.
Allegiant Air flies nonstop to Las Vegas and Oakland several days a week with McDonnell Douglas MD-80 jetliners.
Horizon Air operating as Alaska Airlines flies Bombardier Q400 high speed turboprops daily to Seattle.
