Giovanni Andrea de Ferrari

Giovanni Andrea de Ferrari (1598–1669) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period, active mainly in Genoa. He was a member of the family of Genoese artists, with surnames de Ferrari, which also included Orazio de Ferrari and Gregorio de Ferrari. He collaborated on some projects with Giovanni Andrea Ansaldo. Among his pupils are Giovanni Bernardo Carbone, Sebastiano Cervetto, Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione, Andrea Podesta, and Giovanni Battista Tassara
