Death

After some years of sobriety, Stewart died of a heroin overdose on October 8, 2008 at 9:30PM - as cited by the Los Angeles County Coroners office, at a friend's home in Burbank, California. His body was found on the following day.

At the time of his death, he was recording an album with record producer Dave Jerden, in a television deal with Roxane Davis for "Bag Boy" and had been contracted to publish his art.
