GUtech CAMPUS
In September 2012 GUtech moved to its new campus in Halban, located around 40 kilometers from Muscat International Airport, next to the Muscat Express Highway. The main campus building has classrooms and seminar rooms, a large and open amphitheatre auditorium, science, engineering and computer laboratories, a library, sports facilities, administrative offices, architectural studios, a canteen and a coffee shop. The campus also has student and staff accommodation and a guesthouse.
The next three construction phases will comprise educational, commercial and accommodation buildings, a museum, a mosque, and open spaces such as a recreation area with green parks and sporting areas – a city in itself.
