Gerald Asamoah (born 3 October 1978 in Mampong, Ghana) is a Ghanaian-born German footballer, currently playing for SpVgg Greuther Fürth. He last played as a forward for FC St. Pauli, following an 11-year long stay at Schalke 04. He is known for his "pace and strength."
