Famous quotes containing the words georgina, cole and/or library:

    For there is no friend like a sister
    In calm or stormy weather;
    To cheer one on the tedious way,
    To fetch one if one goes astray,
    To lift one if one totters down,
    To strengthen whilst one stands.
    —Christina Georgina Rossetti (1830–1894)

    “Orders to shoot on sight.” I thought he said the bloke was invisible!
    —Lester Cole (1904–1985)

    To a historian libraries are food, shelter, and even muse. They are of two kinds: the library of published material, books, pamphlets, periodicals, and the archive of unpublished papers and documents.
    Barbara Tuchman (1912–1989)
