Organization
Georgia Tech Lorraine is fully integrated into French and American structures—it is an affiliate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, and it is incorporated under French law as a non-profit organization (“Association à but non lucrative”).
GTL is also home to a strong sponsored research program through the Georgia Tech – CNRS Unité Mixte Internationale (GT-CNRS UMI 2958), an international joint laboratory between the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, and the French National Centre for Scientific Research in the area of advanced materials, secured networks, and robotics.
