Famous quotes containing the words personal, life and/or years:

Life is unnecessarily long. Moments of insight, of fine personal relation, a smile, a glance,—what ample borrowers of eternity they are!
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

I think it’s the real world. The people we’re writing about in professional sports, they’re suffering and living and dying and loving and trying to make their way through life just as the brick layers and politicians are.
    Walter Wellesley (Red)

    Thomas Hardy (1840–1928)
