Graham Foster first appeared in 2003 as a customer in The Queen Victoria pub and befriended barmaid Little Mo Mitchell. They became friends after discovering they both loved crosswords and Graham gave Mo a pen to use when she did them. He also bought her a rose when a flower salesman was in the pub.

One night in The Queen Vic when he and Little Mo were alone, Graham refused to leave until the song that was playing on the jukebox ended (Mo did not know he had put the song on repeat). Graham eventually made his intentions towards Mo clear by trying to kiss her. She fled in fear, but Graham chased her and raped her on the pub floor. This resulted in her conceiving their son Freddie.

Little Mo's father, Charlie Slater subsequently assaulted Graham, resulting in three months imprisonment and a suspension of his taxi license. Graham then sued Charlie for compensation, which was paid by Little Mo's sister Kat Moon and her husband, Alfie. They offered and Graham accepted £10,000, which they had borrowed from Andy Hunter.

On 5 November 2004, Graham appeared before magistrates. After Mo gave her summary of events and Billy Mitchell defended her in his testimony, the court took a recsess. It was during this Mo witnessed Graham verbally abusing his mother, Mo felt sorry for her while explaining that it reminded her of how her late husband Trevor spoke to her. Once back in the courtroom, Graham lied under oath claiming that he sees his other children often (who were also born by means of rape), only for the judge to reveal its been over a long number of years since he last had. With this Graham got into a rage from the dock, shouting at his mother knowing that she informed the judge of this. He was eventually sentenced to eight years in prison. It was before the case started, that Mrs Foster told Mo that she was upset at having another grandchild she could not see, so Mo gave Mrs Foster her address and asked her to keep in touch.

Graham last appeared in January 2005 when Billy Mitchell went to visit him in prison after receiving a visiting order, which he requested. Graham goaded Billy about not being Freddie's real father and pointed out Freddie had siblings, two sisters. He told Billy that Freddie would probably look like him, and he was looking forward to seeing him when he was released in four years time, leading to a possibility that his sentence was decreased, although has never made another appearance in the square.
