Gary Neville - Media Work

Media Work

Neville writes a weekly full-pager in the Sports section of The Sunday Times of Malta, the widest circulating newspaper of the country, which is home to the oldest recognised Manchester United Supporters' Club.

During the months after Neville retired from playing there were many rumours about what he would do next. He joined Sky Sports at the start of the 2011-12 season, taking over as match analyst on Monday Night Football from Andy Gray. He is no stranger to punditry having worked for ITV during the 2002 World Cup which he didn't go to as he was injured and Euro 2008 which England did not qualify for.

Famous quotes containing the words media and/or work:

Today the discredit of words is very great. Most of the time the media transmit lies. In the face of an intolerable world, words appear to change very little. State power has become congenitally deaf, which is why—but the editorialists forget it—terrorists are reduced to bombs and hijacking.
    John Berger (b. 1926)

Idleness makes people feeble and peevish. Work makes them stalwart and prone to anger.
    Mason Cooley (b. 1927)
