Gareth Cambridge

Gareth Cambridge, (born 5 April 1988) is an Irish football player who currently plays for St Marys in the Munster Senior League

Cambridge is an attacking midfielder who can also play as a Winger. Gareth played for Cobh Ramblers from 2005 to 2008, winning a first division medal and picking up the Cobh Ramblers U-21 player of the year accolade in the process. He moved to Cork City after he secured his release from Cobh Ramblers in July 2008. He won a Setanta Cup medal before leaving the Leesiders at the end of the season as part of their restructing under new Chairman Tom Coughlan. He re-signed mid-way through the 2009 season. He has one Ireland U-19 international cap to his name. He joined St. Mary's in the Munster Senior League in January 2009 but rejoined the Rebel Army in the July transfer window last season. However due to Cork City's ongoing financial crisis and uncertain future in the League of Ireland, Gareth Cambridge signed for Waterford United. He was released at the end of June 2010. On 1 July 2010, Cambridge was unveiled by Cork City.
