Famous quotes containing the words garden, purple and/or dragon:
“A garden has this advantage, that it makes it indifferent where you live. A well-laid garden makes the face of the country of no account; let that be low or high, grand or mean, you have made a beautiful abode worthy of man.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnights all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnets wings.”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
“Come not between the dragon and his wrath.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
