The town of Gandevi lies in the prosperous southern part of the state of Gujarat. It lies approximately 50 kilometres south of the city of Surat, and 20 kilometres south of the city of Navsari and about 7 km north from the city and rail junction of Bilimora.It is a small beautiful town well connected by roadways and serves as a link connecting the major towns of Navsari district.Gandevi is situated in the Coastal heartlands of South Gujarat region.The nearest city with an airport is Surat, and the nearest international airport is in Mumbai. Gandevi is situated on the bank of river Vangania. It is considered to be one of the major town of South Gujarat region.
