Children in Need
BBC Scotland each year produces content for the annual BBC Children in Need telethon, much of which is screened to viewers in Scotland and elements of which are screened as part of the networked show. Noticeably, for several years in the late 1990s/early 2000s, the Scottish CiN would come from the Glasgow studios and use a re-dressed version of the Fully Booked/FBi set; this was also the case in 2001, when the set used for the Glasgow-produced summer run of Live & Kicking was used in a similar manner.

Famous quotes containing the word children:
“Unfortunately, life may sometimes seem unfair to middle children, some of whom feel like an afterthought to a brilliant older sibling and unable to captivate the family’s attention like the darling baby. Yet the middle position offers great training for the real world of lowered expectations, negotiation, and compromise. Middle children who often must break the mold set by an older sibling may thereby learn to challenge family values and seek their own identity.”
