Powers and Abilities
Originally, Leblanc had no superhuman powers. He was an athletic man with Olympic-level leaping ability. He was an excellent hand-to-hand combatant, and an expert in la savate (French kickboxing). Leblanc was later subjected to an unknown mutagenic process administered by Count Nefaria's scientists which temporarily gave him frog-like legs that gave him superhuman leaping ability, as well as superhuman strength, stamina, and agility.

Famous quotes containing the words powers and/or abilities:
“Everyone confesses in the abstract that exertion which brings out all the powers of body and mind is the best thing for us all; but practically most people do all they can to get rid of it, and as a general rule nobody does much more than circumstances drive them to do.”
—Harriet Beecher Stowe (18111896)
“A child is born with the potential ability to learn Chinese or Swahili, play a kazoo, climb a tree, make a strudel or a birdhouse, take pleasure in finding the coordinates of a star. Genetic inheritance determines a childs abilities and weaknesses. But those who raise a child call forth from that matrix the traits and talents they consider important.”
—Emilie Buchwald (20th century)
