History
The district was founded in the early 20th century as a small school district which served the Fremont Township in the West Valley region, which was primarily an agriculture-based community back then. Currently, it is a large school district that includes highly academically performing schools, including Cupertino High School, Homestead High School, Lynbrook High School, Fremont High School, and Monta Vista High School.
