Famous quotes containing the words freedom of, freedom, expression and/or india:

Gardening is civil and social, but it wants the vigor and freedom of the forest and the outlaw.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

It was always accounted a virtue in a man to love his country. With us it is now something more than a virtue. It is a necessity. Adlai Stevenson (1900–1965)

    —D.H. (David Herbert)

    Indira Gandhi (1917–1984)
