Approval and Accreditation Status
Frederick Taylor University is approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education and appears on the current California Postsecondary Education Commission list of state-approved institutions. That authorization was from the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE), a predecessor agency of the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. BPPE conducted a site visit to FTU in May 2012.
FTU is not accredited by any accreditation body recognized by U.S. education authorities. In 2012, Mansour Saki told a reporter that he did not intend to apply for accreditation from a recognized accreditation organization.

Famous quotes containing the words approval and/or status:
“I am thankful to God for this approval of the people. But while deeply grateful for this mark of their confidence in me, if I know my heart, my gratitude is free from any taint of personal triumph. I do not impugn the motives of any one opposed to me. It is no pleasure to me to triumph over any one.”
—Abraham Lincoln (18091865)
“What is clear is that Christianity directed increased attention to childhood. For the first time in history it seemed important to decide what the moral status of children was. In the midst of this sometimes excessive concern, a new sympathy for children was promoted. Sometimes this meant criticizing adults. . . . So far as parents were put on the defensive in this way, the beginning of the Christian era marks a revolution in the childs status.”
—C. John Sommerville (20th century)
