Francis Lee (Chinese: 李焯雄) is a Chinese lyricist. He began his writing career as a novelist and a literary critic. Francis Lee (Li Zhuo-xiong in Romanization as used in the Mainland China, or Li Jhuo-syong or Li Jhuo-shiung according to the Taiwan Tongyong Romanization or Li Cuo-hsiung in the Wade-Giles system) is now a critically acclaimed and platinum-record lyricist who can strike a balance between commercial success and literary value. He is best known for his Mandarin works though he also writes in Cantonese from time to time.
